Contact
Email support@framemodu.com with your Lightroom Classic version, operating system, framemodu version, selected template, output ratio, logo mode, and a short description of the issue. Include whether the issue happens during installation, activation, inside the Export dialog, or after the final file is written.
Activation help
For activation issues, include purchase email, license key last four characters, license status shown in Plug-in Manager, selected license server if testing locally, and whether the error is an invalid key, activation limit, refunded license, chargeback, or network grace state.
Changing devices
Use Deactivate this computer before replacing a laptop or workstation. That releases the activation for another machine. If the old device is unavailable, contact support with purchase email and license key details so the activation can be reviewed.
Installation help
If Lightroom does not show the plug-in, confirm that you selected the framemodu.lrplugin folder in Plug-in Manager. If the plug-in is listed but not ready, remove duplicate entries, add the fresh package again, and restart Lightroom Classic before another test.
Renderer help
framemodu renders the final framed file locally after Lightroom writes the exported file. If the renderer or dependency status is missing, reinstall from a fresh package or verify the renderer folder has not been moved out of the plug-in package.
Export help
For export issues, include the selected template, output size, logo mode, EXIF field settings, and one screenshot of the Lightroom export settings. Also describe whether the plain Lightroom export is correct, because that separates Lightroom file settings from framemodu's presentation step.
Metadata help
exiftool is optional but recommended for stronger metadata preservation and RAW-friendly EXIF fallback. If camera, lens, date, or exposure text is missing, check the source file metadata first, then try the override fields in framemodu before exporting a full batch.
Logo help
For automatic brand marks, confirm that the source metadata contains a recognizable camera maker. If the metadata is missing, use manual built-in selection, custom image mode, text-only output, or hide the mark for that export preset. Include the selected logo mode when contacting support.
Layout help
For frame, caption, or ratio questions, send the selected template, output ratio, text fields, padding or color changes, and one screenshot of the rendered file. If possible, compare a plain Lightroom export with the framed output so support can see what framemodu changed.
Batch export help
When a full set behaves differently from a one-photo test, note the number of selected photos, the destination folder, and whether all source files share the same metadata quality. Batch issues are easier to diagnose when one failing file and one successful file are identified by filename.
Version help
Include the framemodu version shown in Plug-in Manager or the package filename when asking about updates. Version details help support separate current behavior from issues fixed in a newer package or changes introduced during a local test build.
Purchase and refund help
For payment, refund, or license-disabled questions, include purchase email and payment receipt details. Refunded, disputed, or charged-back purchases may be disabled by the license server.
Repeatable test case
The fastest support path is a repeatable one-photo test. Use one source photo, one destination folder, one template, and one ratio. After the result is clear, the same settings can be tested on a small batch before returning to a full delivery workflow.
Privacy expectation
Normal export rendering runs on local exported files and does not upload your photos. Support emails may include screenshots or diagnostic details only when you choose to send them for troubleshooting.
