Frame exports in Lightroom.

framemodu is a Lightroom Classic export filter for presentation frames, EXIF captions, camera brand marks, custom logos, and platform-ready ratios. It keeps the finishing step inside the normal Export flow.

What framemodu does

After color and crop, photographers still add borders, type camera settings, resize for each channel, and place logos by hand. framemodu moves those repeat jobs into a reusable export preset.

  • Frame layouts render during export
  • EXIF text comes from Lightroom metadata or fallback readers
  • Aspect presets cover social, blog, and original-ratio output

Current plug-in capabilities

16 finished layouts

Templates. Choose border-only, info strip, metadata bar, caption, poster, note, film data, and gallery label treatments for different publish contexts.

Camera notes without retyping

Metadata. Print camera, lens, date, focal length, ISO, shutter, and aperture from Lightroom metadata or fallback readers when available.

Auto, manual, custom, or none

Logo modes. Use EXIF brand matching, select a built-in mark by hand, add your own image file, switch to text-only output, or hide the mark.

One set, many destinations

Ratios. Export original ratio, square, 4:5, 3:2, 16:9, and other channel-ready formats without opening a second design app.

One finish for the whole set

Batch export. Because framemodu is an export filter, a client preview, portfolio update, or social batch can share the same presentation system.

Why photographers use it

Finish inside Lightroom

The frame, caption, logo, and ratio are applied during the familiar Export flow.

Keep sets consistent

Apply one presentation style across a whole batch instead of rebuilding layouts photo by photo.

Show real capture details

EXIF fields can be printed, hidden, or recovered from source/export metadata when available.

Control the brand mark

Automatic matching is there when metadata is clean; manual and custom modes cover the edge cases.

Leave originals untouched

framemodu formats exported files. Your catalog and source photos stay as they are.

Sample export templates

Info Strip / 4:5

Instagram 4:5 Info Strip export: A vertical export with camera, lens, date, exposure settings, and automatic brand mark placement.

Dark Gallery

Dark gallery presentation export: The same Info Strip template in dark mode for portfolio updates, client previews, and low-key images.

EXIF Caption

Two-line EXIF caption export: A clean bottom caption with camera body, lens, ISO, focal length, aperture, and shutter speed.

Manual Brand Logo

Square export with manual brand logo: A 1:1 export using the built-in manual brand selector instead of automatic EXIF matching.

Metadata Bar / 16:9

16:9 Metadata Bar export: A wide output for articles, YouTube Community posts, and web headers with dark metadata treatment.

Border Only

Minimal border-only export: A quiet frame with EXIF and logo display disabled when the photograph should stand alone.

Questions photographers ask

Is framemodu a Lightroom preset?

No. Presets change the photo edit. framemodu formats exported files with borders, captions, logos, and output ratios.

How do I get framemodu?

Use the Download page for the current package and installation path, or contact support@framemodu.com if you need help getting set up.

Why not finish exports in Photoshop or Canva?

You can, but that repeats the same layout work after every export. framemodu keeps the finishing step inside Lightroom Classic.

Will it change my original photos?

No. framemodu works on exported files. Your Lightroom catalog and source images stay untouched.

Can it batch a full set?

Yes. It is implemented as an export filter, so a gallery or client preview can use one finishing system across a batch.

Does export rendering upload my photos?

No. Normal export rendering runs locally on exported files. Your Lightroom catalog and source images stay on your machine.

What is available in Trial Mode?

Trial Mode exports the default Info Strip template without a watermark. Full Mode unlocks all templates, theme options, logo modes, and ratio controls.

Can I move the license to a new device?

Yes. Use Deactivate this computer before replacing a machine. If an old device is no longer available, contact support with purchase email and license key details.
